It Always Comes To

It Always Comes To (10-5-06)

An empty heart

To an empty mind

It always comes to

Leaving me behind

Truth be told
Lies be heard
It always comes to
Something obscured

Dreams are real
Reality seems fake
It always comes to
The life that we make

The things we’ve lost
And those left to lose
It always comes to
The lifestyle we choose

Life to death
To tears being shed
It always comes to
The things that you said.

This poem has a good flow, but I think the rhthym may be a bit off. I could quite possible be wrong, though, for I may not be reading it the way that you intended it to be read. It is good, though.
